I’ll never forget the day, a few years ago, when a friend and 1st time client exclaimed to me, “You present yourself as this cute suburban mom, but really you’re a big honkin’ shaman!”
For many years I hid behind that mask of the cute suburban mom. Calling myself “Shaman Girl” was a fun way to hint at who I was behind that façade. Since moving to the mountains, undergoing seismic shifts within, and deepening my healing practice, I no longer feel like a “girl.”
While I’ve loved playing as Shaman Girl and appreciate all the thumbs up’s that have come my way, it feels much more authentic to simply use my own name. So I’m proud to announce that I’ve come out of the closet and shifted to being myself here at www.meghangilroy.com.

Recently I experienced something in the dream state that totally threw me for a loop. Meghan was the one I was drawn to for help. We did a session OVER THE PHONE, not even in person. I went in with what I thought was my question. However, with one of her first simple questions, that was gently set aside and the much deeper request revealed. With Meghan's support I was able to identify, face, reveal and overcome the source of one of the biggest challenges in my life. She helped me understand how I was using it against myself in my self perception and my interaction with the world. Meghan checked in a few days later and offered continued support to strengthen and activate the integration of the healing/understanding/learning that occurred during our session together. She also gave me a summary of the meditation we did because it was unique to me – I will be able to remember the learning and the tools/images created during it. I did mention that this was a phone session? I want you to know how vibrant even a phone connection is with this powerful woman.
