After Egypt: Embodiment, Spiritual Integration, and the Fire of Becoming
Each morning since I’ve returned, I’ve been called to sit in front of my wood stove.
To rest.
To sing and pray.
To offer the final shedding of this year to the fire.
Not just to digest Egypt – which was epic and transformative beyond words – but to integrate everything this past year (these past few years) have demanded of me.
It’s been a crucible.
Of marriage unraveling.
Of business reshaping.
Of life asking me to deepen into my soul truths and power.
What’s landed most deeply in me now is this:
I no longer need to “figure it out” by thinking my way forward. I trust my body. I follow feeling – and Spirit guidance.
I no longer outsource my safety – I feel it in my bones, in my bond with Spirit.
I’m no longer carrying the heaviness of everyone else’s expectations. There’s peace now. Spaciousness.
It’s been hard won.
I feel like I’ve dropped into my true center.
No longer dysregulated and scattered, but rooted. Whole. Feminine and fierce.
Able to hold what life brings – and stay connected to what’s real and what’s mine.
And I’ve been feeling you too.
So many of the women I work with – healers, creatives, coaches, visionaries – are echoing:
“I’m exhausted and spun out.”
“I know I’m meant for more, but I can’t find my footing.”
“I want to walk my true path – but I’m tired of doing it alone.”
Let’s tell the truth:
You are not soul-tired.
Your soul is ready.
It’s your body and ego that are tired.
From accommodating everyone else. From shape-shifting. From pushing. From holding it all together for everyone.
As we enter this pre-Solstice season – where your bones long to go inward and rest, and yet the world asks you to be busier, more social, more giving – I want to offer you a sacred space to simply be held.
To be witnessed.
To return to yourself.
To feel your own sacred spark again.
Because when you are held in the right space, an inner knowing clicks.
You come alive and aligned.
You remember.
You cross a threshold.
That’s exactly what happened in Egypt.
The women who came with me were transformed – ceremony after ceremony, sacred site after sacred site.
I watched them crack open, reclaim their light, and walk through their own fire with grace and power. More than once I heard:
