King’s Chamber inside the Great Pyramid in Cairo
Nestled within the Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the most powerful portals on Earth, we’ll enter the King’s and Queen’s Chamber at night – for a next-level spiritual initiation ceremony.
The King’s Chamber represents integration, embodied knowing, and cosmic consciousness. It’s aligned with the stars and associated with the union of human and cosmic order. It’s a place of transcendence – where your human self merges with your soul and with Spirit.

Queen’s Chamber inside the Great Pyramid in Cairo
The Queen’s Chamber is traditionally associated with receptivity, inner gestation, and sacred balance.
Positioned below the King’s Chamber, it represents the divine feminine foundation that supports outward authority. It symbolizes the unseen and stabilizing forces required for true sovereignty – intuition, containment, and quiet power.
Together, these two chambers reflect the necessary balance between inner alignment and outer expression.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Aswan! (Nov 4, 2026)
Welcome & Acclimation: After being picked up at the Aswan Airport, you’ll head to the banks of the Nile and boat over to BenBen Hotel, a luxurious, adults-only, dare-to-be different destination, conveniently nestled on the Island of Heissa, with majestic panoramic natural surroundings overlooking the Temple of Philae and serene city of Aswan. Chosen for its upscale eco-friendly practices, exquisite food, friendly staff, and spaces for relaxed connection and ceremony – this is an absolute recharging hideaway.
Evening: Time to gather, meet and greet your retreat soul circle at an exquisite dinner overlooking the river–then off to unpack and rest after your day of travel. Rebalance and settle into this time zone and culture.

Day 2: Opening Ceremony & Flow into Aswan Immersion
Morning: We’ll begin our time together with a gentle yet powerful opening intent ceremony, overlooking the Nile, setting the tone for deep spiritual connection and a potent journey.
Midday: We’ll board a felucca, a traditional wind-powered sailboat for a leisurely lunch on deck while drifting along the Nile.
Evening: We’ll return for a delicious dinner, then a preparatory session for tomorrow’s private, early morning access to Isis’s Temple exclusively for our group.

Day 3: Isis Awaits at the Temple of Philae
Dawn: Now that we are rebalanced and rooted, it’s time to tap into the deeper purpose of our journey. A pre-dawn boat transports us to begin our fully private, early-morning ceremony at the Temple of Philae – to invoke the energies of Isis. The entire site will be ours and you’ll be moved by the energy and power here.
Midday: Sample old town Nubian culture, where you’ll be immersed in the authentic souk (marketplace) to discover the fragrant spices, handcrafted treasures, and even unique goddess-inspired clothing.
Evening: We’ll finish our day at Artika, an authentic Nubian resort for dinner and a traditional dance performance – one that you won’t be able to resist joining in!

Day 4: Transition to Luxor & Temple of Khnum
Day Trip: We’ll check out of BenBen and say, “Odogaro” (Nubian for goodbye) and begin our travel to Luxor by air conditioned bus. A perfect way to break up the trip is our stop in the mysterious town of Esna. Here we explore the Temple of Khnum dedicated to the ram-headed god (the god of creation) believed to form humans on a potter’s wheel from Nile clay and shape their bodies and destinies. Khnum was also the god of the Nile’s source, fertility, and rebirth, making him one of the oldest and most important deities in Upper Egypt.
Afternoon: Upon our Arrival in Luxor, we’ll check into our next iconic island lodging, at Jolie Ville Resort & Spa, where the elite stay and we float across an infinity pool over the Nile. We’ll settle and nestle into 150 acres of spacious gardens where you’ll think you’re in heaven on Earth! There will be opportunities for photo shoots, sharing circles and ceremonial gatherings.
Later Dinner: After a rest in your room or splash in one of three refreshing pools, we’ll skip back into Luxor for a taste bud explosion at the highly acclaimed restaurant of our friend Wolf, who is known for his farm-to-table meals, warm hospitality and blend of his Egyptian roots with his fine dining training from his time in America.

Day 5: 12 Hour Nile River Cruise — Meet Hathor in Dendera
Sunrise to Sunset on a Nile River Cruise that seamlessly blends the romance of a bygone era, cruising through the very waters where pharaohs and legendary queens once shaped history. Explore one of the world’s greatest open-air museums, and the site of the first known zodiac calendar.
Our deeper purpose is to honor the Goddess Hathor. As we float past sand dunes, small villages, and reed-filled bird sanctuaries, we’ll gather together to set our intent for our ceremony (private access not offered) to honor and invoke Hathor, the Goddess of love, beauty, music, dancing, fertility, and joy. Heal the wounds between mothers, daughters and our feminine lineage.

Day 6: New Moon Invocation with Sekhmet & Goddess Photo Shoot
Early Morning: Gain exclusive, private access to Karnak Temple, one of the largest spiritual complexes in the world, where we unlock and slip into Sekhmet’s chamber for 2 hours of private access. This unique, highly charged, sacred ceremony invokes the fierce feminine and allows for us to transform our sacred indignation and anger into creative power.
Late Morning/Early Afternoon: Relax and integrate after the power of Sekhmet. Begin to prepare and primp for the Sunset Goddess Photoshoot.
Mid Afternoon: Capture your inner goddess during a professional photo shoot at Karnak Temple – a backdrop of a lifetime – this is your personal ritual souvenir, which may double as marketing images and headshots if it aligns with your career.
Evening: Dinner and sharing circle at the hotel.

Day 7: Free Day with Optional Excursions — Transition to Cairo
Morning: Today you choose! Optional* sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Luxor skies, optional exploration at Valley of the Kings or Queens, last shopping spree at Luxor markets or hotel spa services and rest.
Afternoon & Evening: Check out and transfer to Luxor Airport for a one way flight to Cairo where we call the Hyatt Regency (or similar) our next and final home base, unless you choose to extend your experience with the Oasis Extension.

Day 8: Cairo — Preparation, Sensory Immersion, Lineage Path
Morning: Gather up for breakfast and transport into the old town for a sensory education about the world’s fundamental scents at Sheikh Abdul Gamal’s essential oil museum. Experience fragrances that have been perfected over 5 generations in his family. We’ll learn how these fragrances activate every energetic channel – from body chakras to realms beyond from a Master Teacher & Healer. You’ll want to take home the healing in these bottles!
Afternoon: Explore the historic Coptic Church area, where ancient narratives and sacred spaces reveal Egypt’s layered religious and cultural history as we wind our way down the hidden maze-like streets. For those with a connection to the Mary Magdalene, Mother Mary & Yeshua (Jesus), you’ll have the rare experience of visiting the crypt where they lived.
Evening: Group dinner and gathering for our briefing on tomorrow’s Great Sphinx private access ceremony in the famous Giza Plaza.

Day 9: Cairo, The Great Sphinx & Giza Plateau Fun
Early Morning: Off to our private access at The Great Sphinx, one of the most iconic symbols of Egypt. We’ll stand in between these enormous paws to take our pause for an honoring ceremony – a moment of profound energetic downloads.
Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a leisurely exploration of the famous Giza plateau, home to both the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. You’ll be able to wander through the site and get great photos, take an optional and thrilling camel ride or just sit and take it all in.
Afternoon & Evening: We’ll have lunch at an epic spot overlooking the pyramids and decide whether we feel like a marketplace visit for some shopping, or if rest time is warranted and we head back to the hotel.

Day 10: Cairo — King’s Chamber Ceremony, Inside The Great Pyramid
Morning: Breakfast and then integration sharing circle to process the energy transmission from our Great Sphinx Ceremony.
Afternoon: Optional visit to Grand Egyptian Museum – recently re-opened after a massive rebuild and added splendor of the ancient artifacts including King Tut’s treasures, mummies, and statues of the gods. And if you fall in awe of Sekhmet, don’t miss the entire outdoor homage dedicated to her!
Night: Our GRAND finale! We have an exclusive, late night reservation to go inside the Great Pyramid, up its ancient corridors, and into the King’s & Queen’s Chambers for an out-of-this-world ceremony, offering a glimpse into its energetic mysteries. This promises to be one of the highlights of the journey – saving what may just be the best – for last.
REMINDER: This is a very good reason to build in extra days of solo time and quiet integration before returning to your regular life – you will thank us for (almost) requiring it.

Day 11: Cairo — Closing Ceremony & Departure (November 14, 2026)
Morning: We’ll gather for our final integration circle, celebrating the collective transformation and solidifying your new wisdom.
Departure: For those who are extending their time in Egypt through our add-on 3-Day Fayoum Oasis Extension, you’ll enjoy an additional night at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, then continue to further decompress and integrate throughout the serene Oasis setting.
If you did not extend your stay, your departure begins this afternoon. We have transport arranged for you to the Cairo airport.

Downtime: Then you’ll have time to journal, nap, hang out with your soul circle.

DAY 14 | November 17: Final Farewells (optional add-on)
Morning: We’ll check out of our restorative Oasis Extension and make our way back to Cairo to transfer to the airport.
Day/Evening: Many flights depart at night, so if you’re feeling adventurous, you could take in other city sites. Or, a relaxing way to end your stay is to splurge for a day pass at Le Meridien Cairo airport hotel, where you can have a relaxing day at the pool or luxuriate with an optional spa treatment before flying out (these options are at your expense).

28 years ago, my first trip to the pyramids in Mexico disrupted my carefully laid-out life – the engrained perfectionist, overachiever, and people-pleaser identity flipped into spirituality, deep listening and living from intuition.
Within that decade of devoted practice and direct apprenticeship with don Miguel Ruiz (author of The Four Agreements), I was named a Nagual Woman (shaman and spiritual teacher) and my soul calling became a clear and primary purpose in life.
In 2023, one of my Spiritual Guides, Mother Sarita (a curendera or faith healer and don Miguel’s deceased mother) told me in a vision that I was going to Egypt – and to not worry about the money to get there. I’ve learned to listen and act, even when the way isn’t clear. That fall, I embarked on a three-week pilgrimage that, once again, upleveled my life.
While in Egypt, I had three life-altering experiences that direct how I will guide you in Egypt:
Isis initiated me into her lineage and instructed me to reconnect women to the unbroken lineage of the divine feminine and heal the broken human lineage – by bringing women to Egypt, teaching Sacred Practices, and training us to be Temple Tenders for ourselves, our bodies, our homes, and sacred sites.
While standing in front of the 3,000-year-old statue of Sekhmet, I felt her insert a blade into my solar plexus – unlocking my anger and stuck emotions, empowering me to set boundaries in my life, and instructing me to guide other women to do the same.
At the paws of the Sphinx, I had an enlightenment experience where I encountered Yeshua (Jesus) and Mary Magdalene, who blessed me as the world dissolved into light. I was invited to rebuild trust with the divine masculine and to rest in the knowledge that I had done enough work for lifetimes and that now there would be new ways to show up in service.

Dr. Mahmoud Salem is one of Egypt’s most beloved Egyptologists, known for his encyclopedic knowledge, infectious enthusiasm, and kind heart that’s as big as his huge smile. After receiving his PhD at Environmental Archaeology, he started using his expertise as a tour guide in 1999 and as a leader of the archeology & education expedition team of Cairo University.
Since then he’s guided thousands of spiritual seekers and Egyptian lovers through his country’s sacred sites, living out his father’s prediction that he would become an ambassador for his country and people. He’s also known for his published articles on the Egyptian archaeological sites, his work to help the homeless and his ability to flow between Arabic, English and Italian.

Why is this a bigger investment than some other Egyptian tours I’ve seen?
“This experience was worth the entire price of the trip” was a frequent phrase we heard during the 2025 Egypt retreat, which confirms there is a deeper value here than words on screen can relay – it is experiential.
Lower cost tours to Egypt either have large groups (35-100 participants is typical), lower quality accommodations (what is considered 3-4 star in the United States is what Egypt considers 4-5 star lodging, so you need trusted tour operators), and do not include private access to the sacred sites – which means you cannot be in private ceremony, instead, you are shuffled amongst the crowds and lose a key opportunity for benefits beyond definition.
Our journey has been carefully curated for the best accommodations that are truly nourishing and replenishing to all senses. Allowing a maximum of 13 participants ensures greater overall ease and opens access to facilitators for personal attention, healing, and processing. Private access is included at each of the top four spiritual sites – exclusively for our group – with custom ceremony and healing led by Meghan.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent and accounts for the monies we send to reserve our private access tours, accommodations and activities. Our full cancellation policy is available on the checkout pages.
A $3,333 early reservation deposit is included in the total trip price. This $3,333 deposit is non-refundable because it is paid directly to our Egyptian tour operator to secure required tour deposits.
If you are unable to attend, your deposit may be transferred to another participant you provide, with Meghan’s approval, up to 90 days before departure. Replacement participants must be approved and complete registration prior to the transfer.
If trip is canceled due to current geopolitical situations, deposits are non-refundable, but are transferable, minus unrecoverable costs, to another retreat or program hosted by Meghan Gilroy.
In the unlikely event that the organizer must cancel the journey, all payments will be refunded in full.
I’ve been to Egypt before. How is this different?
This is not a tourist tour – this is more like one big extended healing ceremony, infused by independently potentized energy from various deities and sacred sites. We can say with 100% confidence, that there is nothing else out there that is as uniquely healing as this highly curated and safely contained journey.

We have exclusive private access, which allows for deeply integrated rituals (including healing ceremonies and goddess-inspired photo sessions), and a blend of luxurious and cultural experiences, and an experienced facilitator who has been guiding international retreats with ceremonial shamanic healing for over 25 years.
I’m traveling solo and need a roommate – how do I arrange that?
Whether you’re an experienced retreat-goer or new to immersive journeys, you’ll find a welcoming circle of like-minded souls. We work to match participants who wish to share rooms. Should you opt for a private room upgrade, note that the single supplement is available separately.
Can I bring my kids/partner?
Our retreat is designed for adults on a soulful journey who are fully participating in the experience.

Where do I fly into?
You will fly into Cairo International Airport (CAI) and then book a one-way flight to Aswan (ASW), where our group journey will begin. When you land in Cairo, our team can assist with coordinating your transfer to Aswan. From Aswan, we drive to Luxor, and from Luxor, we fly to Cairo (all included in your trip cost). At the end of the journey, you will fly out of Cairo.
We’ll share all the details once you register. Please do not book your flights until you have received the go-ahead from us.
Is there transportation from the airport to the retreat venue?
Yes. All transfers between airports, hotels, and retreat venues are provided in private, air-conditioned vehicles to ensure a safe, seamless and comfortable arrival and departure experience.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Is it safe to travel to Egypt given the current geopolitical climate?
This is an important question, and one we take seriously.
As of today’s date, Egypt remains at the same U.S. State Department travel advisory level it has been at for the past two years. We continue to monitor global developments closely and stay in regular contact with our Egyptian tour partners as we move toward our departure.
Egypt has a long history of welcoming international visitors and is highly attentive to the safety of tourists from around the world. Throughout much of our journey we are accompanied by licensed guides and, at times, security escorts that are standard for organized travel in Egypt.
Our itinerary takes place far from any active border areas. We travel primarily within the well-established tourist corridor along the Nile, including Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and surrounding temple sites that host visitors from around the world every day.
At the same time, we are living in a rapidly changing global landscape. Part of my personal orientation is to remain grounded and steady in the midst of uncertainty. I believe that gathering for healing, ceremony, and conscious presence in sacred places can be part of the work many of us feel called to do in the world right now.
For those who resonate with this perspective, traveling together can also be a way of bringing prayer, presence, and intentional energy into regions that hold deep historical and spiritual significance.
Because international travel always carries some unpredictability, comprehensive trip cancellation insurance is required for this retreat. This ensures that you are financially protected should unforeseen circumstances affect your ability to travel.

What is the weather like?
November is the ideal month to visit Egypt as it’s typically pleasant, mild weather – warm days perfect for exploring and cooler evenings ideal for intimate ceremonies. While you can expect generally comfortable conditions, it’s wise to bring layers (such as a light jacket or shawl) to accommodate any temperature variations, especially in desert areas or near the Nile. You’ll received a detailed packing list, including how to dress in a culturally-honoring way.
What do I pack?
We suggest packing comfortable, modest clothing suitable for both temple visits and casual outings. Essentials include:
